Must have apps for rooted SGY.

Here i have listed few useful apps for rooted Galaxy Y.

* Link2sd :     Its a very usefull app which also makes your phone run faster. Download this app from Google Play and install it. Allow to use root access, then select the apps which are installed in internal memory and move it to sd card. Thus you free some internal memory and make the phone run faster. Make sure you don't transfer important apps to sd card.

* Chainfire 3D : By this application you can run some of the HD games in Galaxy Y. Just by installing this app donot make the games run, you should also install the required pluggins. In the coming posts I will show how to install those pluggins.  This app reduces the texture quality and graphics so that the games can be played smoothly.

* Titanium Backup : The most important and useful app for rooted phones. Before flashing any zip files to the phone, make the backup of important apps that you require, you can also backup your contacts, game high scores, messages and all other things.

* Super backup : This app can be used to backup your contacts and messages mainly.

 * ES file manager (root explorer) :

My favourite app, your phone can perform like a computer by this            app. Copy-paste files/folders anywhere on the sd card, extract zip or       rar files, compress files to make zip files and many more options.

* Button Savior : If you keep on flashing things to the phone, the buttons will be damaged. Then you must use this app. It requires root permissions, and u can perform all the actions through this app which you do with the buttons.

* No-frills CPU : This app will get your phone more battery life, it requires root permissions. You can set the maximum and minimum frequencies of the processor using this app. By reducing the clock frequency when the phone is not used much helps in saving battery. If you have flashed custom kernels then based on the kernel you can set the maximum and minimum clock  frequencies.

* BusyBox is an app that combines many common UNIX utilities into a single, small executable. Android is based on Linux which is also capable of running complex UNIX commands. BusyBox simplifies this type of process.
Many rooted apps and custom roms depend on BusyBox to run their script and make them work, hence some custom roms would have this automatically installed.
